Track and Measure

"The secret to successful planning is to implement the plan then measure success." Obvious, right?  Then why do so many businesses consistently fail to measure and evaluate outcomes?  In "Planning Secrets - Measure and Track for Successful Implementation", Greg Balanko-Dickson suggests the problem lies in gray areas, "Gray areas are results that are difficult to quantify but important to success. Areas like:

  • customer satisfaction;
  • increased market awareness;
  • staff training; or,
  • your sustainable competitive advantage."

He provides some good advice on how to measure the 'un-measurable'.  Get the whole story.

The worst thing you can do is tell yourself you don't have time to measure!
